Community Outreach
We're dedicated to collaboration and innovation in our community. We've partnered with Women in Health Sciences and the Girl Scouts on logo-design and sticker-making workshops, and we're always open to helping with design needs, from props for a dance group to other creative requests.
Girl Scout outreach
We've hosted badge workshops and a Pinewood Derby workshop for the local Middlebury Girl Scout troop. They learned about engineering, built their own toy cars, and earned badges.
Club workshops
Want a workshop for your club? We're happy to host a closed event for your org. Our keychain and sticker-making workshops are always a big hit.
Miscellaneous requests
If you're part of the Middlebury community, college or town, we're happy to help with personal projects when we can. Need a prop for your dance troupe or an automated watering system for a community garden? Send us a message!
Pinewood Derby workshops
With the local Middlebury Girl Scout troop, we've run Pinewood Derby workshops in the Makerspace. Scouts design and decorate their own cars, learn a bit about what makes a car fast, and then race them down the ramp.
Members of Women in Health Sciences have joined us as volunteers, and it's one of our favorite events every year.
